Streets of Palermo

Palermo was originally named after the Italian, Giovanni Palermo, who in the 17th century transformed this area into orchards and vineyards and it remains nestled among groves of trees and mysterious, cobbled streets.
Palermo embodies Buenos Aires' bohemian, creative spirit and the area is characterised by 19th century mansions, antique shops, patio roofs, hip cafes and street art.
